Our internal information technology (IT) department is seeking an ambitious IT Coordinator who is a self-starter, an accomplished multi-tasker, and who strives to deliver world-class service to key stakeholders which include internal team-members, Company underwriters and claims handlers, our agents, and customers.

Summary:

The IT Coordinator position provides overall support to IT operations. This position requires engagement with the IT Team as well as end users bridging the gap between the business and IT. Also, this position will work closely with the Chief Information Officer and IT managers with day-to-day operations including vendor management, invoice processing, assistance with day-to-day tech support, project planning, and departmental tasks and issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functionally serve as ‘Chief of Staff’ to Chief Information Officer
  • Develop high level IT requirements
  • Provide technical support or training for systems, networks, application, and cloud-based services
  • Act as link between end users and higher level support
  • Assist help desk team with tickets, shipping equipment, retrieving equipment
  • Oversee, track, and reporting for help desk ticketing system
  • Vendor management including invoicing, ordering equipment and accessories, vendor payments
  • Manage equipment inventory
  • Assist development team with user engagement, requirement gathering, and application testing
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding new users
  • Manage employee records needed for tracking employees in various systems
  • Maintain software and hardware licenses and upgrade schedules
  • Assist with record keeping of IT operational and procedure documentation
  • Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality
  • KnowBe4 cyber safety system management, training management, and remediation training management
Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma/GED required (college degree preferred)
  • Insurance background a plus
  • Proven experience as IT Coordinator or similar role for at least 2 years
  • Experience with Help Desk software and ticketing systems required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills both in-person or with remote personnel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Possess the ability to work independently and also function efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
  • Candidate must be willing to occasionally travel domestically and be available “after-hours” as needed
  • Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications (desktop and cloud and Office 365), Microsoft Teams Collaboration, and willingness to learn new software
  • Project planning software, coordination, and reporting
Annual Salary Range: This is a full-time exempt position with an annual base salary range of $45,000-65,000
