The Mental Health Technician delivers quality direct patient care through a structured safe therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include: Contributing as an active part of the treatment team, patient close observation, patient escorts, providing redirection & consistency. This opportunity is available to individuals who meet the following requirements: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Physical agility to manage patients. Able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift & grasp Successful completion of Assessment of Care Effectiveness (ACE) test prior to hire and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) & CPR within 90 days of employment.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree in Psychology preferred
• Experience: One year of mental health experience or background required.
