Centennial Peaks Hospital is a 104-bed behavioral health hospital located in beautiful Louisville, CO. We are dedicated to providing a full range of mental health and chemical dependency services to the state of Colorado. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Therapist facilitates quality, evidence-based mental health therapy groups . The IOP Therapist is responsible for conducting group therapy sessions, maintaining accurate patient documentation in the medical record, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, working in conjunction with members of a multidisciplinary team, communicating with family members, referral sources and community partners and coordinating patients' discharge plans.
Pay Range: $25.50-35.00/hr
PRN Differential: $1.50/hr

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this . The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to provide care to varied populations including adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.
Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Marriage & Family Therapy required.
Experience: Prior experience providing therapeutic interventions for the psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient or group setting.
Licensure/Certification: LCSW, LPC, LMFT preferred. (CAC II/ CAC III required for Chemical Dependency Group Therapist)
Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of group and individual therapy interventions and modalities, risk assessment and crisis/behavior management, mental health disorders and associated treatment, discharge planning and patient case management.
Supervision Received: Director of Outpatient Services
Environmental Conditions:
Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior. Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other hazardous waste. General hospital environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Physical agility to manage patients. Push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping. Drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen.
