What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Part Time Nights position at Universal Health Services?
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services this position assumes the accountability of all aspects of adult and geriatric patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and within the guidelines of the State of California Nurse Practice Act. Accountable for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal patient outcomes in the ICU. Responsible for the supervision of all categories of nursing personnel.
Qualifications
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
One year ICU/StepDown/PCU experience preferred
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Critical Care course required for new grads and RN`s with less than one year experience within 9 months of start date
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Current California RN license required.
Basic Arrhythmia Certificate or 12-Lead EKG Certificate preferred.
ACLS required within 90 days of start date.
Current BCLS (CPR) required. CCRN preferred
