Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks to ensure the financial health and compliance of our organization. This role requires strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting principles and software.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, financial statements, and other accounting documents.
  2. Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and identify trends or discrepancies.
  3. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  4. Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable transactions.
  5. Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities.
  6. Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes are efficient and compliant with regulations.
  8. Stay updated on accounting standards, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
