Responsibilities
Role SummaryThe Financial Analyst will support the Theme Park and CityWalk Retail team through finance deliverables including the following: daily/weekly/monthly financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, Budget/ Long Range Plan (LRP)/ Latest Estimate (LE) cycles, planning and execution of year-end physical inventories, and ad hoc analysis.
Responsibilities
Inventory Control:
- Assistance in the accurate completion of monthly Position Updates trend for COGS load factors
- Validate Daily, WTD, MTD, and YTD Per Cap / Revenue against multiple systems
- Support month-end close process by completing and posting Journal entries for Inventory related activity
- Work closely with the Inventory Control team to monitor and maintain inventory
- Plan and execute year-end physical inventories for stores and Retail Warehouse
- Complete quarterly Inventory account reconciliations
- Ad-hoc Inventory analysis as requested
- Validate Daily, WTD, MTD, and YTD Per Cap / Revenue against multiple systems
- Support month-end close process by completing and posting Journal entries for COGS load factors as they relate to Inventory
- Ad-hoc analysis as requested
- Other Adhoc analysis requests from operators
- Special projects as needed
- Partner with operations to deliver useful insights
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Finance or Retail Operation, including internship
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong communication and team player who enjoys working with multiple business partners
• Technical proficiency in utilizing multiple systems to extract and report data
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Desired Characteristics
• JDA, SAP, and BPC experience is a plus• Resourceful problem solver, with the ability to prioritize and create approaches to meet required objectives
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Adapt to the systems, such as Microsoft Strategy, Merch Data Warehouse
