Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.

Responsibilities:

- Process invoices and match them with purchase orders and receiving documents

- Review and verify the accuracy of invoices and expense reports

- Prepare and process payments to vendors

- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies

- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

- Assist with month-end closing activities

- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices

- Assist with special projects as assigned

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist.

- Proficient in using accounting software such as ADP.

- Familiarity with tax regulations related to accounts payable

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
