Primary function
Assist VAR department melter to ensure the smooth operation of the melting process through effective coordination of support tasks.
Basic Responsibilities
- Insure adequate supply of equipment.
- Provide effective staging of product.
- Provide efficient use of consumables and recyclables.
- Maintain proper documentation
- Insure that floor practices and procedures are properly performed.
- Take corrective action or report equipment or material abnormalities.
- Perform lower level duties related to VAR activities when necessary.
