University Behavioral Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. Our mental health facility provides safe and effective inpatient treatment to assist individuals in leading more productive and fulfilling lives. The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Education/Training:

• High school graduate; or equivalent
• Graduate of a certified coder program preferred

Experience:

• A minimum two (2) years of experience in medical coding in a healthcare facility and thorough knowledge of medical terminology or certification.
• OR CCS or CCSA with some experience.

Licensure/Certification:

• CCS or CCSA preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of coding devices, techniques and procedures.
• Complete knowledge of medical terminology.
• Advanced knowledge of computer ad various software packages.
• Sensitive and aware of diverse cultures and their practices.
