POSITION SUMMARY
Assists in the daily operations of qualitative and quantitative research internal and external to department. Conceptualizes, codes, and categorizes non-numerical data and textual data to transform into findings and uncover what participants thought, felt, or did in some situation or at some point in time. Seeks to describe textual data in ways that capture the setting or people who produced the text on their own terms rather than in terms of predefined measures and hypotheses. Uses inductive reasoning to identify important categories in data, as well as patterns and relationships through a process of discovery. Focuses on interrelated aspects of setting, group, or person under investigation. Orients data collection toward many data on a few cases rather than few data on many cases. Adopts an iterative and reflexive process that begins as data are being collected rather than after data collection has ceased. Goals are defined by rich descriptions of the world rather than measurements of specific variables. Promotes the University Health vision of Triple Aim PLUS and assures all projects are executed within the expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
