Job Summary:
University Home Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Livonia, Michigan. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing quality care and services to our patients in their homes. This is a contractor healthcare/ medical role where you will work as an individual contributor. The compensation for this role is $80 to $85 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes in accordance with their individualized treatment plans
- Conduct initial evaluations and follow-up assessments to determine patient needs and progress
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient goals and needs
- Train patients and caregivers on appropriate techniques and exercises to improve function and independence
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjustments to treatment plans, and other patient information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to coordinate patient care
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of treatment plans and progress
Requirements:
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Prior experience in home care preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
