Sign on bonus- with one year of applicable experience, full time night shift, 1K, 500.00 part time
St. John Medical Center in Westlake only
Possible units available: Emergency Department, 3 North and 3 South (med/surg), Step Down unit, MICU, Ortho, PACU, Central Nursing Administration
Day and Night shifts possibly available
Availability of shifts depending upon current openings
The Patient Care Nursing Associate PCNA completes patient care activities as delegated by the RN. PCAs perform duties including, but not limited to, ADLs, vital signs, I and Os, 12 lead ECG, bladder scan, hygiene and venipuncture where applicable. Familiarity with using wheelchairs, EKG equipment, patient assistive devices, and patient care equipment specific to assigned population. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as, exhibiting strong organizational skills and work ethic, demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients and customers, basic computer data entry skills. Experience in a large teaching hospital preferred. One year job stability preferred.
