Description

This position is for current radiology program students. Eligible for Funding Healthcare Futures.

  • Provides support and assistance to the radiologic Technologist in caring for patients and family members during the imaging process. 
  • Assisting the Radiologic Technologist by completing basic patient assessments including verifying patient orders, completing patient questionnaires, patient preparation and instruction
  • Communication with other members of the health care team to help coordinate patient care
  • Facilitate patient care including, lifting, transport, chaperone and monitoring of patients
  • Assist with Radiology computer information and data entry including PAC system.
  • Ensures the adequate availability of procedural supplies to include ordering and stocking patient care supply item
  • Follows hospital initiative in order to meet patient satisfaction goals.
