Job Summary
Functions as a key member of the nursing care team, participating in the implementation of select components of the patient’s plan of care as delegated by the Registered Nurse (RN), Charge Nurse (CN), Nurse Manager, and department Director.
Promotes exceptional customer service with patients and their families and makes recommendations for improved patient care.
Upholds maintenance of a safe, cost-effective healthcare environment.
Skills
1. Effective oral and written communication skills.
3. Proficient in waived and moderate complexity testing procedures.
4. Knowledge of medical terminology.
5. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
6. Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
Work Experience
Previous healthcare experience or nursing student preferred.
License / Registration / Certification
Current CPR training program required.
CPI training required or obtained within 6 months of being in the position.
Education and Training
High school diploma or equivalent.
