Job Summary
Spearhead El Paso Health's (EPH) growth initiatives, focusing on positioning EPH as the premier Medicaid and Medicare managed care organization (MCO) in the El Paso and Hudspeth Region. Leads the health plan strategic planning process and manages the progress throughout its life cycle. Work in close collaboration with the Hospital District (District Chief Strategy Officer) on all work related to the strategic plan, to ensure consistency between the overall EPCHD Strategic Plan and the EPH Strategic Plan. Identifies opportunities for business expansion and conducts thorough feasibility studies in collaboration with senior leadership are key responsibilities. Collaborate closely with EPH's senior leadership to drive business and strategy development, initiates new product ventures, analyzes profit and loss, assesses return on investment (ROI), and formulates budgets. Serves as a valuable resource to the EPH Board of Directors, senior leadership, and management team, by contributing its expertise in areas such as planning, finance, and market analysis. Fostering partner relationships, expanding product offerings, and fulfilling other health plan-specific duties is pivotal in extending the reach of health plan leadership. This role entails extensive external representation, identifying and cultivating relationships with key partners, and overseeing new program planning, business development, and product innovation.

1. Knowledge of the local, regional and national health care environment.

3. Strong written and oral communication skills (including presentation and group facilitation).

5. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
6. Strong intra-personal skills to collaborate with multi-functional teams and different levels of employees and leaders.
7. Strong project management and leadership skills. Also possesses strategic planning acumen and a long- term strategic outlook.
8. Proficiency in computer software programs and use of basic office equipment.
Work Experience
Five years in management/supervisory capacity required. Strong business development, marketing, and/or planning experience required. Healthcare/managed care experience preferred.
Education and Training
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration required. Master degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred.
