Position description
This position will work directly with Professor Kai Vetter's research group to provide support in radiation detection and chemical sensing.
Responsibilities:
Perform measurements in laboratory setting and in outdoor environments;
support maintenance and organization of equipment in radiation detection and nuclear instrumentation laboratories;
Perform data analysis of multi-sensor instruments, including radiation detectors, meteorological and chemical sensors, as well as visual cameras and LIDAR;
Contribute to design, assembly, test, and evaluation of instruments on static and mobile multi-sensor platforms;

Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent international degree at the time of application.
Preferred qualifications
B.S. or B.A. in nuclear instrumentation, physics, or related fields.
1-2 years of laboratory research experience
Experience in radiation detection and nuclear instrumentation;
Experience in design and fabrication of systems composed of multiple detectors and sensors;
Experience in report writing and oral presentation of research;
Experience in data analytics;
Experience in Python.
Excellent communication skills;
Ability of working in team.
