- 3 or more years of relevant experience in creating and developing learning materials in a complex business environment.
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Thorough knowledge of functional area and understands how work within one learning product may impact work being done on others or in other areas.
- Thorough analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, project planning, and project management implementation skills.
- Strong analytical, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge and ability to apply usability and accessibility principles as specified by industry standards and regulations (USSG, ATAG, WCAG).
- Thorough knowledge of instructional design principles and learning strategies, including needs analysis, backwards design, learning outcomes and assessment design, and instructional approaches including webinars, workshops, asynchronous learning methods, etc.
- Familiarity with technical tools and platforms for creating engaging learning content and awareness of educational technology trends.
- Thorough knowledge of applying adult learning theories and educational methodologies.
- Thorough knowledge of e-learning strategies including but not limited to courses (e.g., processes and technologies, etc.).
- Knowledge to conduct appropriate job and task analyses in the context of instructional design of technical or specialized training.
- Capable of managing multiple, diverse assignments concurrently, ensuring accurate and timely completion, with regular communication to the supervisor on progress and challenges.
- Project management (preferred) Prosci certified (preferred) Lean six sigma certified - yellow, green, or black belt (preferred) ATD membership (preferred) Instructional Design Certificate (preferred)
- Thorough knowledge and skills with relevant business software systems, such as Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML/XML, online survey tools, and internet software, and common instructional authoring tools such as Storyline 360. Bilingual English/Spanish
- Hybrid work schedule (1-3 days in office; more if necessary due to project requests/deadlines) partial on-campus and partial remote required.
- May require onsite work at various campus locations.
- Work outside of normal business hours may be required.
