Position Summary:
The incumbent is accountable for performing a wide range of management and administrative functions which support the UC Irvine Health Strategic Plan, develop and manage organizational performance dashboards, conduct business planning, project management and process improvement initiatives. Incumbent must effectively communicate across all levels of internal and external stakeholders, be able to manage executive level projects and initiatives, facilitate and manage meetings and committee for senior management (strategic plan, etc.). The position ensures annual plan updates are developed, as directed, and implements systems to monitor plan effectiveness. Reports progress and recommendations and implements changes as appropriate. In addition he/she will also manage projects that support growth-oriented strategy development to further the achievement of the organization's strategic priorities and facilitate strategic projects to completion.

Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $123,500.00 Midpoint $182,700.00 Maximum $241,900.00
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated experience planning and implementing detailed processes
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated experience working independently or as part of a team
Minimum 5 years' experience working in a strategic planning, business development or project management role
Demonstrated ability to facilitate and lead medium to large scale projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
Experience in an academic medical center environment
Experience working with senior / executive management stakeholders
Knowledge of strategic planning tools and approaches, including strategic dashboards
Master's degree MBA, MPH or MHA
Process improvement certification
Project management certification
