Lecturer in Natural Sciences: Biological Sciences Summer 2024

The School of Natural Sciences anticipates hiring full and part-time lecturer positions to teach the following subjects in Summer 2024:

Biology Today
Genetics
Introduction to Molecular Biology
Intro to Organismal Biology
Math Modeling for Biology
Molecular Basis of Healing and Disease
Molecular Biology Lab
Molecular Immunology
Nutrition
Organismal Biology Lab
The Cell
Other courses as needed

In addition to teaching the course(s), the instructor will be evaluating student work and exams, calculating and posting grades, and holding regular posted office hours each week.

This is a limited-term appointment which falls under the purview of the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Advanced degree in Biology or related field and experience teaching at the college or university level is required.
