Lecturer in French
The Department of Comparative Literature and Languages at the University of California, Riverside, seeks to appoint a part time lecturer in French to teach during the 2021-2022 academic year. This position is contingent on funding.
Starting Date:
The first day of Fall quarter is September 20, 2021
Salary:
Present lecturer salary is approximately $7,118 per course (based on 100% annual salary of $56,945), (pending final budget approval.) Appointment is eligible for renewal depending on need, funding and performance.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements are an M.A. in French or a related field; applicants who hold a Ph.D., or are ABD, are also encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to candidates with experience and success teaching French at an American university.
Duties:
Duties consist in the instruction of 5 Introduction to French courses, from among French 001, 002, and 003
Fall 2021: 1 section
Winter 2022: 2 sections
Spring 2022: 2 sections
