To make an impact as a medical technologist at UF Health Shands, you will play a crucial role by:
Conducting various analyses on tissue, blood and body fluids using a wide range of complex test methods.
Ensuring the quality of test results and delivering those results to physicians for patient treatment.

- A temporary or current license as a State of Florida clinical laboratory technologist.
- National board certification from ASCP, AMT or AAB as an MT/MLS.
- Requirements as outlined by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory
