What are the responsibilities and job description for the 4-H OPS Event Assistant position at University of Florida?
Position is Temporary – May 9 to July 29, 2022
Must be available to work additional Hours July 18 to July 29
Event responsibilities:
Assist various staff members in event/program related preparation with tasks such as assembling packets, making and sorting name tags, processing event registrations and payments; tear down and clean-up of event/program, compilation of evaluations from event/programs.
General Office responsibilities:
Serve as back up receptionist in answering office telephone and routing calls appropriately. Help visitors and/or direct to appropriate person. Prepare various mailings. Editing, scanning and filing documents.
Assist other staff members with a variety of duties as assigned by supervisor.
$10-12.00 per hour
High school diploma
Data entry, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, Publisher), general office experience. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, as well as follow verbal and written instructions. Demonstrate professional etiquette in the office, on the phone, and in person.
