What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education/Training Spec II position at University of Florida?
This position provides expert technical level training and development services for our Wisdom in Diagnostic Imaging (WIDI) program. Medical Education Curriculum/Training development coordinator will oversee day-to-day Medical Education operations.
Responsible for implementation of training curriculum content materials to edit, produce and deliver on targeted deadline. Process all DICOM images for the education content and recording ensuring all HIPPA data is removed. Assist with the recording studio and schedule content contributor faculty for recording.
Provide an expert support to curriculum product development team.
Oversee coordination and input of the WIDI program content for the department. Duties include but are not limited to meeting with Radiology faculty in regards to WIDI content. Meeting with the Product Development team to input program content into the Kentico content management system (learning management system). Link DICOM image set, videos and PowerPoint lectures to ensure the public face of WIDI is appropriate and error free.
Develop and coordinate the delivery of educational training programs, WIDi –Sim & WIDI-Learn to Radiology Residents, Radiologists and Medical students around the country to educate and broaden the understanding of Radiology Imaging, Patient Safety and other related issues and topics.
SIM and WIDI Tech Support: Interact and provide tech support for SIMulation participants, Exam Proctors and WIDI users.
Participate as an exhibitor at the Association of University Radiologists annual meeting, American College of Radiology annual meeting, American Society of Emergency Radiology annual meetings.
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience with learning management systems.
