Duties/Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities | Providing event-planning support for Carmical Sports Media Institute programming, including lectures, symposia, professionals in residence, the Paralympic Games student bureau and the sports media-specific study abroad program. Creating and updating web site content and otherwise maintaining the two sites under the Carmical Sports Media Institute's purview: sportsmediainstitute.uga.edu and ejsgameplan.com. Helping to create and post content to @SportsMediaUGA accounts on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Aggregating and distributing sports media-specific internship and job opportunities for Sports Media Certificate students. Tracking and communicating with Sports Media Certificate alumni, including via periodic digital newsletters. Marketing the Sports Media Certificate program and the UGA-Grady High School Sports Broadcast Program to high schools across Georgia, especially in underserved communities. |
