 Duties: 

1. Under the general supervision of the Director of the UH Hilo Kipuka Native Hawaiian Student Center, plan and coordinate career exploration, research, and post-graduation support through campus and community engagement and leadership development events for UH Hilo Native Hawaiian sophomore, junior and senior students.
2. Outreach to and collaborate with academic and support programs at UH Hilo.
3. Conduct, coordinate, and evaluate student success and development workshops and activities.
4. Oversee and maintain data collection for student participants.
5. Hire, train, supervise and evaluate peer mentors to assist implementation of programs and activities.
6. Work in multiple work settings and maintain a variable work schedule as required.
7. Other duties as assigned.  

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Possession of a baccalaureate degree in any field from an accredited university and one year of experience with project coordination, working in post-secondary education with experience working with underrepresented or underserved populations or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills, and abilities as indicated.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of UH Hilo programs and services.
3. Demonstrated ability to operate a personal computer and apply word processing software.
