Position Summary:
The primary purpose of the Law Library Circulation Technician is to assist in the daily operations and management of Law Library Circulation team including the supervisor of student desk workers.
Founded in 1889, the University of Idaho is the state's land grant university and is a comprehensive research institution with its main campus in Moscow. With a first year entering class of approximately 130 students, equally split between the two campuses, the University of Idaho College of Law is ranked as one of the "Best Value Law Schools" by Pre-Law Magazine. We emphasize quality over quantity, have an average enrollment of 350 students and operate both in Boise and Moscow.
Moscow is the quintessential college town, located in northern Idaho, surrounded by nature's beauty with unlimited outdoor activities. Established in 1909, the University of Idaho College of Law is the sole law school in the state.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a library.
- One year of customer service experience.
- Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email software and centralized computer information systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing library services in an academic environment.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing a library circulation desk.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift, carry and/or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
