Clinical Trial Finance Position Title: Budget Analyst Non-Exempt Job Family Group: Professional Staff Job Description Summary: Monitors, audits and supervises budget transactions for numerous budget types throughout the agency/institution. Performs analytical budgetary functions and assures budgets are in compliance with authorized budget limitations and currently established budget guidelines and requirements. Develops new and improved budget procedures. Assists with preparations of agency/institution budget documents and other related budget materials. Job Description:
Coordinate, gather required documents, extract critical elements to create record, and update Velos with the information necessary to establish the required administrative and study calendars and charge master records to facilitate study management, billing, and collections.
Provide teams with details of trial specific information at trial activation. Duties performed timely and accurately.
Review any amendments and correction requests received and make appropriate revisions in the Velos system in a timely and accurate manner.
Work collaboratively with the budget team, clinical trial finance team, study team and sponsors.
Participate in special projects as needed such as year-end closing.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance or business-related field or an Associate degree in accounting plus two years related experience in finance or
business-related field. Experience may substitute for degree on a year-to-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with multi-specialty physician groups.
Prior budgetary experience.
One to three years prior work experience in a medical environment.
Familiarity with university policies and procedures or similar structure.
Scientific, nursing or legal background and/or training.
Ability to analyze and interpret legal contracts/document
