Job Description
Student assistant in library cataloging department. Applicants for this position must be able to work a regular schedule of 10 - 20 hours per week.
Student duties may include:
Searching and editing records in OCLC and Voyager
Moving books and other materials
Moving book trucks
Retrieving materials from the stacks; or tasks that are part of the physical preparation of library materials (such as attaching labels)
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Current KU student enrolled in 6 or more credit hours
Must be able to work a regular schedule of 10 or more hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday - Friday.
Preferred Qualifications
Some knowledge of one or more foreign languages
Previous library experience preferred
