Instructor, Marketing, School of Management, University of Louisiana at Monroe, College of Business and Social Sciences. The campus is located in a culturally rich metro area with a population of 150,000. The area is home to CenturyLink, the third largest telecommunications company in the US, and a regional IBM development center. ULM's business programs are AACSB accredited at the undergraduate, accounting, and MBA levels, and ULM is a leading business educator in the region.
The College of Business and Social Sciences promotes a balance between teaching and intellectual contributions, combined with professional service to the university, discipline, and community. The normal teaching load will be 12 hours per semester, and will normally include classes such as digital marketing, principles of marketing, personal selling and services marketing. Research/scholarly activity and service responsibilities are required at the level consistent with the rank of instructor.
Minimum Requirements:
- Masters in Marketing, Business or closely related field from regionally accredited university
- 3- 5 years of recent work experience in marketing, sales, entrepreneurship, or relevant marketing field
- Excellent communication skills
Desired qualifications include experience in teaching (face to face and online), interest in research, good interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communication skills; Experience working with students and the ability to function collegially as a member of the faculty.
