Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED and two years of related work experience in a golf club setting.�Grade NB Wage Minimum $15.00/hour
Preferred Qualifications- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and customer service skill
- Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends as demanded by club operations Enrolled in PGA Apprentice program or�have PGA Membership. Must be in good standing with the PGA of America
- Bachelor's degree in business, sport administration or a related field
- Experience using Jonas software
The Assistant Golf Professional assists the Head Golf Professional with management of daily golf club operations to ensure an exceptional golf experience for members and guests at the University of Louisville Golf Club.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
- Control and manage play
- Supervise and train golf operations personnel as directed by Head Professional
- Manage practice facility operations
- Oversee golf cart storage, bag room, and locker rooms areas
- Management of tee sheet
- Assist in purchasing, receipt, display, inventory, control, promotion, sale of merchandise
- Assist in management of GHIN program and tournament software
- Be informed of and promote all club activities and services
- Assist in managing tournaments and other events held at ULGC
- Serve as point-of-contact to assigned groups/associations (e.g., Ladies Golf Association) in�scheduling�and conducting events
