Position Summary: Under the direction of a licensed nurse and/or physician, assists in the care of patients by performing triage, registration, basic lab tests, EKG's and related routine, non-professional nursing care. Requires High School diploma or equivalent and CNA certification.
What You Need to Be Successful:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Current Maryland certification in good standing as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Preferred: Other: Life Support Certification: (Check all that apply) Basic Life Support – Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Education/Knowledge (see attached explanation sheet) Attained Level: Entry level Preferred: Completed Course Work/Program: Applicable Experience Experience (years): Required: 1 - 3 years Preferred: Not applicable Experience (describe required & preferred): At least one year's experience in patient care, EMT, Paramedic, Military Corpsman or closely related field, preferably in an Emergency Care environment. Technical/Clinical Skills Microsoft Office Suite Skill Level.
