Manager - Software Development and Innovation- IT- Remote Opportunity

Responsible for leading the analysis, design, and implementation of quality internally developed software solutions. He/She is involved in full systems life cycle management (i.e., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, and implementation of systems and applications software) delivered on time and within budget. This position participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for software development initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance. This position participates in hand-on development (primarily Sharepoint Developer and .Net) and supports/recommends emerging technologies. He/She is responsible for the work of others, resource allocations, and decision-making affecting the success of assigned projects (i.e., results, deadlines, and budget). This position provides consultation, training, and subject matter expertise for software developers and internal customers. This position requires a seasoned leader with a track record of visionary thinking and fostering innovation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in related field from a four-year college or university with more than ten years of relevant IT experience (with two to four years of Progressive Mgmt Experience) preferred
• Minimum three years of experience leading a technical team
• Technical skills in Microsoft-centric web development (SharePoint development, Visual Studio, JavaScript, SQL Server)
• Competency in a database management system, such as MS SQL Server
• Working knowledge of .NET framework environments
• Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Programming
• Must have proficiency with Microsoft Suite • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates
• Knowledge and understanding of project life cycle methodologies, proven ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and provide direction to a team of employees
• Excellent attention to detail
• Solid understanding of healthcare business operations. Demonstrated business acumen
• Solid experience with budgeting, estimating, and managing human and financial assets
