Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The Assistant Coach, Softball, will assist the Head Coach with the organization, development and implementation of a competitive,NCAADivision I women’s softball program that competes in the Big Ten Conference. Responsibilities include recruiting, scouting, coaching, travel coordination, program administration, fund-raising and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. The Assistant Coach will develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni and the general public and have knowledge of and commitment to compliance with allNCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential.
