Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
. The Video Coordinator for Football works under the direction of the Director of Football Technology with day to day functions of the department within the football program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaborates with the set-up for videotaping of football events for both practices and games. videotapes and edits daily football practice for coaches for breakdown and study purposes. conceptualizes and designs, with input from coaching staff, videotaping plan with regard to camera positions and assignments. schedules and manages a crew of student videographers. responsible for the training, scheduling, and directing student workers’ day to day task within the football program. performs routine maintenance on equipment which includes troubleshooting and maintenance of video. prepares for the transportation of equipment to home and away football games. ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with department, University, BIG Ten Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. and performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Qualifications:
. Education and Experience:
. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required in video production, communication, graphic design, or related field and a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a collegiate athletics or NFL video department is required.

Physical Demands
. The scope of the position frequently requires weekend and evening work (Non-standard work hours). While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee operates a computer and other office devices such telephones, copy machines, fax machines, etc. Constantly moves about the facility and event site before, during and after events to service clients. constantly communicates via telephone, email and in-person with others to exchange accurate information. Standing, walking, kneeling/crouching, balancing and lifting up to 50 pounds (Transport of all video equipment, including cameras, tripods, projectors, screens, etc).
