We are looking for a temporary research assistant on the National Neighborhood Data Archive, to assist in updating our Voter Registration, Turnout, and Partisanship dataset under the direction of Lindsay Gypin and Dr. Philippa Clarke in the Social Environment and Health (SEH) program at the University of Michigan?s Institute for Social Research. Project work is expected to conclude in Fall 2024.
The research assistant is needed to assist with identifying new and updated data sources, writing dataset documentation, data curation and management, and creating infographics and data visuals. In addition, the research assistant will meet with the Data Project Manager and other stakeholders weekly to discuss project progress.
Successful candidates will have a background in research data management, data curation, and information.
5-10 hours per week, including some hours M-Th 10am-3pm EST.
