Campus Dining Services
Summary
To provide accounting level support by performing various complex administrative tasks within office and accounting software programs. Most work will occur in PeopleSoft.
Essential Functions
Complete daily receiving on invoices in PeopleSoft, which includes verifying vendor statements for payment accuracy, purchase order numbers and receiver numbers.
Complete Journal Entries as needed in PeopleSoft, which will help ensure financials are accurate.
Help complete PeopleSoft Checklist
Assist with department mail run, which delivers mail from the main office to all Campus Dining locations.
Additional Responsibilities
As with all positions, involvement with other duties and responsibilities is expected in order to serve the customer.
$12.30 per hour
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Must be a University of Missouri student enrolled in current semester.
Ability to work 10-20 hours per week on a regular basis.
Must possess outstanding communication skills and be able to work well with others.
Quality of work and attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
Computer proficiency, including experience and knowledge of database systems, spreadsheets and word processing programs.
Demonstrated ability to understand accrual based accounting and related cut off requirements, as well as manage multiple tasks is preferred.
Demonstrated ability may include current or previous course work in accounting, finance, or other business related fields.
Student working toward a Business or Accounting related major.
This is a student position and is not eligible for University benefits.
