At UMKC Campus Recreation, our mission is to support the UMKC community by providing access to recreational and educational experiences where all are inspired to pursue their well-being.
This position will provide quality group fitness classes for the UMKC community. Classes will be pre-planned, safe, and inviting to all members. Class type will depend on certification and experience - for example: cycle, hatha yoga, circuit training, etc.
A Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
NCCA Accredited Group Fitness Instructor Certification or Specialty Group Fitness Certification or 200 Hour Yoga Certification.
1 Years experience teaching group fitness classes
Up to $25.00 per hour commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity.
