Traumatologist

The University of Missouri Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking an additional Traumatologist to join our team at Cox Health in Springfield, Missouri. Our reputation for patient care, education and research has made us one of the fastest growing practices in the Midwest. We are anchored by the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute (MOI) which is the largest and most comprehensive freestanding orthopaedic center in the region.

  • Join a team of 5 Traumatologists

  • Acetabular cases covered by 2 surgeons
  • Support from 10 APPs

Cox Health:

  • Level I Trauma Center with 110k ER visits per year
  • 2,400 Trauma visits per year with dedicated OR space
  • Triage from PA, Resident or rotating Fellow
  • Guaranteed salary plus great benefits like 8% match to retirement

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Orthopaedic Surgeon board eligible or board certified 
  • Orthopaedic trauma fellowship trained
