Visit Facilitator (Endocrinology) - 1.0 FTE - $1000 Sign-On Bonus

The Visit Facilitator prepares examination/procedure rooms before each patient, maintaining environmental services and infection control practices. This role helps to prepare each patient for their visit by gathering and documenting pertinent medical information. The Visit Facilitator also helps with scheduling and coordinating appointments, preparing schedules and office visits and other delegated communication. Visit Facilitator Overview Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare examination and procedure areas for patients appointment Set-up the exam or procedure room Stock supplies Clean each exam/procedure room before and after each patient visit, in accordance with environmental service and infection control practices. Prepare for procedures by bringing in and setting up equipment or supplies. Transport and clean equipment, instruments, etc. Initiating visits with the patient, collecting and documenting pertinent information such as the reason for their visit, health history, health questionnaires. Completes visit wrap-up by scheduling and coordinating follow-up appointments and other needs. Including MyChart sign-up Simple and complex scheduling Faxing, forms, letters Other administrative duties as assigned Performs other duties including Performance Goals developed by manager and employee and reported in the employee’s Performance Review as part of UMPhysicians’ Performance Management tools Maintains core/universal competencies and completes any new required learnings. Demonstrates all critical competencies and new required learnings.
