Position Summary |
The College of Pharmacy is seeking a resourceful and dynamic
individual to fill the role of a Marketing Representative. As the successful
candidate, you will develop and direct marketing campaigns on behalf of the
College of Pharmacy. You will draft and publish marketing materials and assist
with promoting College events. You will raise awareness and improve engagement,
helping to share the College of Pharmacy's story with the world. You will
coordinate with our student recruitment efforts and help manage the College's
public image and brand. The successful candidate will be prompt, organized, and a
self-sufficient learner who has a proven track of meeting deadlines. They will
be able to interact with a variety of audiences in a professional matter with
demonstrated emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity. Duties and Responsibilities Include - Develop, execute, and maintain the College of Pharmacy's marketing plan.
- Engage with stakeholders, documenting narratives, creating compelling content for promotional materials; distribute across various mediums including social media, web, email, brochures, media guides, programs, etc.
- Generate SWOT analysis, assessing market competition and opportunities. Determine target demographics to expand PharmD enrollment, collaborate with Pharmacy education recruitment.
- Manage brand identity utilizing brand assets: vector files for logos, color swatches, textures, etc.
- Represent the College of Pharmacy as a liaison and collaborator with the UNM Health and Health Sciences Marketing and Communications (MarCom) office; coordinate use of shared MarCom resources for College of Pharmacy activities and events, ensure equal access and visibility for the College of Pharmacy amongst UNM marketing materials.
- Establish and maintain data management and tracking systems to improve marketing efforts, regularly report to leadership on marketing activities.
- Retrieve quotes for, and purchase promotional materials, ensure all College of Pharmacy marketing and promotional materials comply with UNM branding requirements and stay within budget.
- Assess program effectiveness, user experiences across web and social platforms, measuring reach and impact across intended audiences, implement necessary changes for improvement.
- Serve as a public facing contact for marketing requests of the College of Pharmacy and maintain communication with University and College internal and external constituencies.
- Generate communication materials.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications |
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Capable of submitting a professional cover letter and resume.
- Experience in collaborative environments, managing the expectations of a team of stakeholders
- Generating digital content in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- Photography or Videography editing
- Social media campaigns including content creation, user engagement, and release schedules for content across social media platforms, use of analytics reporting.
- Experience with team-based, multi-platform social media and/or email management applications such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, etc.
