| Job Description | The Department of English, Theatre, and World Languages at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of English/English Education position to begin August 2024. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English Education, supervise student teachers, and teach courses in the general education program. | Management Preference | Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in 1) teaching courses in one or more of the following areas: English Language Arts curriculum and methods, Young Adult literature, and English Education research methods; 2) advising English Education majors and supervising their field experiences; and 3) developing and maintaining ongoing partnerships with local school districts. |
