Description
The Takaku Lab is currently studying gene regulation and cancer biology. We are looking for a candidate who is interested in learning cutting-edge genomics, cancer cell biology, and molecular biology.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform experiments
Study molecular mechanisms of breast cancer cell reprogramming using multiple genomics methods
Write manuscripts and present at local and/or international meetings
Required Competencies
Must be fluent in Microsoft Word and Excel
Know (or be willing to learn) the basics of biochemistry, cell biology, genomics, and bioinformatics data analysis
Minimum Requirements
More than 2 months experience with molecular biology experiments including pipetting, PCR, DNA cloning
Successful completion of criminal history records check

Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification
$15 / hour
Part-time, non-benefited, hourly position
Work Schedule
20 hours per week; schedule will be coordinated with supervisor
