With the growth of the Graduate Programs office, this position will match master level students with internships and help them become industry ready.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and four years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Extensive knowledge of career advising and development.
Knowledge of University operations, policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of computer technology and applications in the career services field.
Ability to deal tactfully with students, individually and in group situations.
Excellent presentation and counseling skills.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Ability to supervise, train, and plan work of subordinates.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration and 2 years’ experience in business career services and/or one of the following areas: Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Logistics, Management, or
Human Resources with previous work experience in business and industry. Preference will be given to those who hold a MBA or MS degree in business.

Job Duties
o
Supervise the Internship Coach and Internship Coordinators.
o
Develop, maintain and improve overall management of internship operations, procedures and planning for all academic departments for which responsible.
o
Assist with overall promotion of Internships & Cooperative Education both on campus as well as off-campus. Assist and support the overall management of data and administration of the internships by the internship coordinators.
o
Participates in University scheduled events to promote internships.
o
Recruit, screen, orient, enroll, and prepare students to participate in the internship, job shadowing, and mentorship programs, which includes work experience with local employers.
o
Conduct professional workshops that help students connect their on-the-job experiences with academic learning and career exploration and planning. Conducts activities according to the most current G. Brint Ryan College of Business Internship Policy and specific guidelines of individual academic departments and programs with oversight of the internship for their department or major.

Assists with the development of internship positions to meet the needs of students within programs that they are assigned to.
o
Maintain and develop relationships with internship faculty members in assigned majors and programs. Communicate faculty concerns regarding internships and intern process to designated faculty and to the Career Center Team
o
Assists and advises faculty on best practice guidelines for internships as needed. Proposes revisions to guidelines as necessary
