The Associate Creative Director, Design & Motion, is a creative problem solver that can execute complex, multi-disciplinary design projects with autonomy. This role will serve as the Fighting Irish Media design team motion graphics specialist; leading the visual direction of our motion design through innovative work that pushes boundaries and elevates the overall team. This includes art directing internal designers as well as outside vendors. Advanced knowledge of motion graphics required.

Beyond motion design, this position is a versatile creative thinker, equally comfortable executing a motion graphics package, a print campaign, branding projects, or still design templates. A team-player and mentor, the Associate Creative Director leads by example, sharing knowledge and critiques with fellow designers to assist in the development of the overall team. In that vein, this position functions as second-in-command for the design team, capable of taking on responsibility and leadership roles in assistance of the Creative Director. The Associate Creative Director will also oversee the FIM design internship program, organizing and developing the creative skill sets of student interns, with assistance and guidance from the Creative Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• Advanced knowledge of motion graphics design and Adobe After Effects
• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the field of sports design
• Experience as a Senior Designer or mentoring young creatives
