The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Retail Associate at Starbucks within the department of Campus Dining at LaFortune Student Center (The Huddle). The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.
Why this position?
The Retail Associate at Starbucks in the Huddle provides the Notre Dame community and guests with the very best in foods and services. Makes all guests feel welcome by providing a warm, friendly atmosphere and being responsive to the changing needs and desires of our customers. Prepares a variety of food items in multi-unit food and beverage operations, a convenience store, for delivery service and catering functions. Responsible for performing all tasks relating to retail including safety and sanitation of food service facilities, including food prep areas, and guest areas. Operates the cash register recording guest orders, and tendering sales. Assigns, and participates in the preparation, stocking, and rotating of food inventories. Leads by example while training new employees.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Less than high school education
* 1 to 6 months full service or quick service restaurant experience
* Competent food industry skills
* Ability to complete UEE Global Service Standards Training
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ideal candidates for this position would have Starbucks experience and thrive in a fast-paced environment
