What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR Inventory Processor position at University of Pennsylvania Health System?
Penn Medicine is seeking a OR Inventory Processor. This position is responsible for maintaining a computerized inventory system for supply acquisition, storage and control of the Operating Room Inventory.
• Develops and maintains inventory levels for operating room and central processing department.
- Implements and maintains the computerized inventory system in the OR and Central Processing Department.
- Develops and maintains OR Inventory records to include dates and product usage.
- Participates in produce evaluation process
- Distributes inventory usage reports as requested by Director of Purchasing, Director of Nursing and OR Nurse Manager.
- Establishes and maintains and professional rapport with the OR and Central Processing staff.
- Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization
