The Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of CHOP residents and fellows as well as medical students from the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical and translational research in areas such as type 2 diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome, type 1 diabetes, cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, neuroendocrine disorders and other endocrine diseases.
The Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes comprises nearly 30 faculty with diverse clinical and investigative interests and has clinical programs with nearly 30,000 outpatient visits yearly.
