Job Description Summary
The Teacher, reporting to the Executive Director, is a key member of our teaching staff and is responsible for supporting and encouraging the basic philosophy of Penn Children's Center - "learning through play!"
As a play-based teacher, you will lead a classroom where children can explore, discover, solve problems, and experiment in playful and imaginative ways.
You will also collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a rich and stimulating learning environment that fosters the development of cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and creative skills in children.
Job Description
This position is responsible for fostering the cognitive, social, emotional and physical development of each child. The successful applicant will be responsible to teach, guide and supervise children 12 weeks to 5 years in accordance with NAEYC, Keystone Stars and DPW guidelines.

About Penn Children's Center :
The Penn Children's Center is for children ages three months to five years. Located on the University campus, the Center is administered by the Division of Business Services.
Enrollment in the Penn Children's Center is open to all members of the University and surrounding communities with preference given to faculty, staff and students of the University.
