The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown invites applications for an adjunct position in Mechanical Engineering starting Summer or Fall 2024. This position requires a broad knowledge of mechanical engineering. Responsibilities include teaching course(s) in critical areas of need for the mechanical engineering program. The position requires a Masters degree (Doctorate preferred) in Mechanical or Materials Engineering. Industrial experience and previous teaching experience are preferred. The University is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their leadership, research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. The Mechanical Engineering program is ABET accredited and part of the Division of Engineering and Computer Science, which includes approximately 600 students in six undergraduate programs.
