Job Summary:
The Associate Director of Admission, Communication, and Outreach is a professional role in graduate enrollment management, admission and communications that participates in and contributes to communication, marketing, enrollment management, and recruitment for the over twenty graduate programs in the School of Education. This is a leadership role that participates in long-range enrollment planning in coordination with the director and regularly interacts with faculty chairs, school and university leadership. The Associate Director reports to the Director ofAdmission, Communication and Outreach.

Job Responsibilities
Recruit and counsel prospective graduate students on program options, requirements, policies and procedures of the graduate admission process in order to meet the University's enrollment and revenue goals.
Oversee and contribute to outreach for professional recruiting and yield events - including open house, information sessions, chat sessions, new student receptions, new student orientation etc.
Represents the School of Education in external facing events such as conferences and fairs.
Assist with day-to-day administration of an admission and outreach office, including overseeing scholarship distribution and new student registration.
Oversee Student Ambassador program (including recruiting ambassadors, planning student ambassador events, managing Unibuddy and the website information for ambassadors and connecting ambassadors with current students)
Works with the Director to meet enrollment goals, manage applicant data, review enrollment reports and partner on creative strategies to influence enrollment throughout the application cycle.
Develops enrollment communications (digital, e-communications, invitations etc.) and marketing plans for prospects and applicants.
Develops and manages content for social media outlets and the website.
Develops content for key audiences (prospect, current, external stakeholders etc.).
Supervises students
Participates on university-wide committees.
Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements
Master's degree with three or more years of experience in graduate admission
administration at a regionally accredited institution offering multiple graduate programs
Three or more years in an admission, enrollment management, marketing or
communications position in higher education
Demonstrated public speaking experience and excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with enrollment and admission counseling
Experience using a CRM (Slate experience preferred)
Proven ability to successfully plan, prioritize, follow through and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, diverse, and team-oriented environment.
Ability to work some evenings and weekends, including travel
Ability to represent the school professionally within and outside of USF
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse members of the University community including students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
